About

Educational Background: Dr. Farhad Javidi holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina.  He completed his bachelor and Master degrees in computer science and engineering and studied in the doctoral program in software engineering at the University of South Florida.

Educational Experience: Dr. Farhad Javidi is a professor at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and the program chair for Simulation and Game Development program. He developed the first state-approved associate degree program in Simulation and Game Development in the world, approved by state of North Carolina in Oct 2005. Dr. Javidi has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Science departments at the University of North Carolina and the University of South Florida, and in the Visual and Performing Arts department at Johnson C. Smith University. He is an adjunct faculty member at SPCC.
